ZoSopp Challenge #44 and Babble

Zoro eyed the vial in Usopp’s hand, fingers tightening around the slim tube in his own grasp. The long-nosed sniper matched him glance for glance until their eyes finally met. Usopp flushed, opened his mouth to stutter out what would undoubtedly be a long-winded and pointless explanation, and Zoro, who was more than ready to go and didn’t feel much like delaying any longer, beat him to the punch.

“Huh. Well, you wanna janken for it or you just wanna…”

The vial and the tube ended up on the carpet, neglected and next to each other, and Zoro got a knee to the face in his haste to maneuver Usopp, but in the end they were both more than satisfied despite the change in plans.

I really liked the mental image in this one. :D

Also, the 2.5 hour ordeal is rather like WELCOME TO INDIANA WE HAS MANY FREEZING RAINS. In fact, we're in the throes of an ice storm, as a result of which one of the trees in our yard lost an enormous limb and took down a power line with it. By the grace of God alone we have power, but the entire street is cordoned off at both ends and I couldn't get out of my driveway if I were parked there.

Long story short, I CANS HAS DAY OFF. XD

Lucky! I wants to has day off! I'm glad that limb didn't take your HOUSE with it. Hell, having power still is like some kind of accomplishment. Stupid weather. Or rather, stupid local drivers who can't drive!

I dids not get paid for day off, though. We were lucky; it came down in the street, and it missed the neighbors' outbuilding and any vehicles.

I was floored! I figured it would be out for sure, and HOW am I supposed to get through twenty-four hours WITHOUT the INT0RBUTTZ? XD
