It's irksome to be told to watch a show by its fangirls, but Metalocalypse is worth it. It really is. And it's SHORT so it doesn't take a lot of time. This series is an amazing examination of modern celebrity culture mixed in with mysterious apocalyptic plots, insanely good music, and pure cheese alont with a hefty slice of ridiculously hilarious gratuitous blood, death, and violence. And you can watch it for free on adultswim.com! (Check out Kirk Hammett as the queen of Denmark, still my favorite celebrity voice ever, closely followed by Marty Friedman as Gojira the driving instructor and James Hetfield as a crazy fisherman comic.)
