I was going to post something on your "zomg UMCP sucks" post (a position I am starting to heartily agree with, despite never having been there XD), but then this happened, so. :D Yay on getting a do-over, and also on the horrible suspense being ended (not my favorite thing ever; the worst part of job interviewing is the suspense).
Also, I think it is awesome that you can write readable history, because while I can talk about history in such a way as to make it accessible, my papers in college were all rather stilted. Maybe if I were just allowed to burble on, I'd do okay. XD
