Day 4 - Long Post Is Long

Disclaimer: This is a fannish post and so I will be squeeing fannishly amidst hopefully some more thoughtful analysis.

Disclaimer 2: Zoro is my favorite character and always has been. If/when I read One Piece with my slash goggles on, Zoro/Luffy/Zoro is what I tend to look for (and therefore find…lol). I totally adore Zoro/Usopp as well but I don't think there are nearly as many moments in the manga (though there are a lot) and it's not relevant to Jaya anyway...


I always find it interesting when friending memes ask about ‘favorite arc.’ It’s a good question and one that the meme doesn’t really give space for more than a quick answer. I have been putting down the same answer since this arc happened and, so far at least, my answer hasn’t wavered. I also find it rather amusing that I’m the only person that ever says this, but, eh, Oda did hit pretty much all of my buttons with these few chapters. Jaya, which is a nice little interlude leading from Alabasta to Skypiea, is my favorite of all the One Piece arcs.
