Re: I blame this on you...

His heart still twinges ever so faintly at the thought of his nakama taken from him, echoes with an ache that he knows will never quite leave him for Ace. But it's okay, it's alright to be sad as long as it doesn't stop him from moving forward and getting stronger and besides, he isn't sad at the moment, can't be because his nakama are back together and, yeah, that thing he'd seen or something close to it is going on right next to him. Luffy listens to all the little noises, his face still resting against the table and his eyes for the moment still closed. He can picture them from before, from that day, and if it wasn't for the rattling of Zoro's blades, he'd suspect that maybe that's what was going on again. Usopp's certainly making the same amount of noise.

But Zoro's swords are banging together and Zoro's trying to keep his breathing even and he's letting out this little growl on every third or fourth exhale and it's making Luffy's dick twitch each time he hears it. His cock is probably more awake than the rest of him and with his stomach pleasantly full, Luffy's entirely too conscious of how unfilled some of his other needs have been. A whine creeps up his throat and he just KNOWS he'll give himself away if he lets it out. Desperation makes him shoot a hand back towards the buffet, not hunger, and his fingers close blindly around the first thing he feels that isn't plates or a chafing dish.

Some sort of baked thing, stuffed with seaweed and a hint of spice fills Luffy's mouth just in time. He can't keep back their names any longer, a plaintive and crumb-spewing cry leaving him even as Usopp freezes. It makes Luffy go stock-still as well - that abrupt halt of the sniper's cries - and he's not sure why, just that he doesn't want to interrupt this moment, doesn't want them to stop because of him. Not now. He's sure he's given himself away but then Zoro speaks, reassuring Luffy even though the words are intended for Usopp. "He's asleep."

And if there's a note of desperate hope, a certain shading of uncertainty, to that voice, Usopp doesn't seem to catch it. Luffy does, though, and can only stay frozen, wondering if there was any shading of an invitation to those words or not. But then Zoro's husky voice continues, the words enough to make Luffy's spine sag a little in relief but not really giving him an answer to the question that's lingered in his mind for over two years either. "Besides, anybody still awake's going to be too tired or drunk to notice." He's noticing, every last inch of him utterly aware of the fact that his sniper and his swordsman are kissing and touching and making a bit of a racket in all honesty, but Zoro is probably right. No one else is around to catch them. Just Luffy. Again.

It seems Zoro's words have been enough for Usopp too, for he goes back to whimpering and moaning, the sound cut off occasionally for what have got to be kisses since Luffy loses track of Zoro's heaving breathing as well. He can't stand it anymore, can't bear to remain still, and he finally sneaks his arm down from where it's been splayed on the table, slides his butt closer to the edge of his chair. He'd popped the button ages ago, back before he'd fallen asleep and had been a bit rounder in the stomach region. But his zipper was in the way and Luffy eases it down, fights the urge to just pull his equipment out because Zoro's right, who's gonna know?
